In The Studio

From a small studio in Burnaby, British Columbia, we're passionate about helping urban nature lovers to stylishly connect with nature in their everyday lives through minimalist wilderness-inspired jewellery and wedding accessories.  Our items are carefully handcrafted, hand painted, and laser cut locally in Chilliwack, BC.

We create inspiring items with integrity and kindness to you and the planet.  We love working with natural and renewable materials like Beetle Pine, Walnut, and Mahogany wood to create minimalist, uncomplicated, and modern designs for men and women that are versatile, affordable, and can be worn everyday.

We hand select high quality materials from trusted suppliers and make each piece by hand to ensure the best workmanship possible.  We use 14K gold filled, gold vermeil, sterling silver, and brass findings in my necklaces.

Sterling silver is much higher quality than silver plated.  The finish will not wear off as does silver plated and it is tarnish resistant. Nickel free.  Gold filled has 100+ times more real gold than gold plated and the finish will never wear off.  Its longevity in comparable to solid gold at an affordable price.

Gold filled is a significantly higher quality material than gold plated.  Gold filled chain has 100+ times more gold and is tarnish resistant.

Gold filled jewelry is worth the investment - it has 100+ times more real gold than gold plate and will retain its shine and beauty for many, many years with longevity comparable to solid gold but at an affordable price.

Gold Vermeil is sterling silver coated with 18K or 24K gold. To be considered vermeil, the gold must be at least 2.5 micrometers thick. Less than 2.5 microns is NOT vermeil and is considered simple gold plating only.  Gold vermeil is more durable and will last a long time with proper care.

Brass also is long lasting and it naturally deepens in colour with time & wear - this is called a patina - and we believe it adds to the jewellery's character!
